Academy No1 – Dance Centre of Excellence

Academy No1 is a first-class dance centre based in the heart of Northampton, in the Cliftonville area. Founded by dance professionals, the academy has been providing high-quality dance tuition to students of all ages and abilities since its inception. With a variety of classes, ranging from beginner to advanced, the academy offers something for everyone. The academy is part of the Cripps Social Club, Northampton General Hospital (Area J) and is open to the public.

What We Offer

At Academy No1, we offer a wide range of classes for all levels of dancers. Our beginner classes are designed to give you the foundational skills needed to progress to more advanced classes. We also offer classes for those who are already experienced in dance. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer private lessons for those who wish to take their dance skills to the next level.

Our Facilities

At Academy No1, we have a fully-equipped dance studio with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems. Our studio is air-conditioned and has a comfortable atmosphere, allowing our students to focus on their dancing. We also have a changing area and lockers for our students to use.

Our Instructors

At Academy No1, we have some of the best dance instructors in the area. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced, and they are passionate about teaching dance. We also have a team of dedicated volunteers who help us run our classes and provide support to our students.

Our Events

At Academy No1, we host a variety of events throughout the year. We have regular workshops and masterclasses, as well as social events and competitions. We also host special events such as our annual recital, which is a great way for our students to show off their skills.
