What Dancers Say About Salsa Bristol

5/5 from 3 Google reviews.

I started as a student with this club in 2010 and loved it so much I took over the club from 2013 to 2016. I now current help out and assist in teaching for them. It's a lot of fun and well structured and friendly. It's great value for money and beginners are given a free class on the 1st week of each course. You won't be disappointed, sign up today for their next classes and see what you're missing out on!— clare maidment

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you start ballroom dancing?

A beginners' group class is the simplest way in, teaching the basic steps and hold from scratch. You then add further dances as your confidence grows.

What ballroom dance to learn first?

The waltz is a common opener thanks to its steady rhythm, though some teachers begin with a social foxtrot. Your teacher will usually recommend a suitable first dance.

How hard is it to learn salsa?

The basics come quickly, and most beginners move to the music within their first class. Real polish takes time, but the early progress keeps it rewarding.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes, beginner classes are made precisely for people who have never danced. No experience is assumed and the steps are introduced slowly.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

Common building blocks include the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and forward-and-back steps. Most line dances combine a handful into a repeating sequence.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

Simple, repetitive routines are the easiest starting point. A teacher can point you to a gentle beginner dance to get going.
